From our family to your, merry Christmas and a happy New Year 🎄

We didn't do a Christmas photoshoot this year so this one from 2 years ago gets recycled 😁 Rest assured we have all grown quite a lot since then, although some of us more than others 😅

This year has been long, short, happy, hard, fun and difficult all at the same time ❤️ But mostly it's been full of growth!

Filming music videos by yourself can be a lot of back and forth, triple checking, unusable footage and honestly just a headache UNLESS you know what you’re doing! Having filmed over 30 music videos of myself by myself I have a lot of experience with filming myself. My best tip: Triple check your focus! Focus is something that CANNOT be fixed in post! It’s just not possible 😭 So, always make sure the camera (or your phone) is focusing exactly on what you want it to be focusing on! My camera comes with a little wifi adapter that I can use to connect it to my tablet and I control the camera remotely from there. The app I use is called qdslrdashboard and it works with both Nikon and Canon cameras. If I tap on the screen the app moves the focus point of the camera to where I tapped and auto focuses there. But I do know that some people prefer manual focus and use a music stand, mic stand or whatever else they can find as a stand in. That way makes sure that the focus is just LOCKED and it won’t change no matter what buttons you push, HOWEVER it can also mean that you have to stand in exactly the right spot to be in focus! Either way, triple check your focus! Or better yet, quadruple check it!
