I recently got my first English booster box of Pokémon cards and since they come with codes for the online game I thought I’d try to see if the green/black codes got better pulls than the white code cards. The first five are the green/black code cards and the last five are the white code cards.
Which do you think won? I’m partial to the Aerodactyl full art card.

The first game of the year beat in the books and it was Star Wars Jedi Academy. The highlight was seeing Boba Fett appear. I forgot he was even in the game and when I saw him, I smiled and said “Oh cool!”

Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time has been completed. I had a lot of fun with this game and enjoyed most of it. However, the end was a bit much. It felt like no matter what I tried, I just couldn’t get enough damage to the final boss. The whole lead up to the final boss was rough. It felt like I wasn’t strong enough to do what was necessary. But I was able to manage a win even if I did have to stoop to the game’s level and be kind of cheap with my attacks.
If you enjoyed Samurai Jack growing up, you will enjoy this game. It isn’t too long and brings back some fun memories.

I beat Crossing Souls for Switch recently and am kind of sad it’s over. It was so much fun to play and had a really good story. It does a great job of entertaining you and then, BLAM, it hits you in the gut and makes you want to cry. The cartoon cutscenes were fun to watch and I loved all of the references to the movies, games, and cartoons I grew up with.
Have you played Crossing Souls? What did you think? What was your favorite part? What reference really caught you off guard?
My friend and I played online last night in some team battles. These guys thought they could just walk us off the stage. Also, look at that team work to finish the match.
