Visiting Disney rekindled my interest in Lorcana and I decided to get the solo campaign to play while I tempt my friends to join me. I’ve played a few games so far and am currently 1-1 on easy and 0-1 on normal. Almost had it on normal but then Ursula had a big hand and took off.

Found this while looking around at a Target and decided to pick it up. Guess I’m ready to start playing Lorcana now.
Some friends and I ordered some prerelease kits from the States and had them shipped to Korea just so we could be part of this game. I had a blast playing Star Wars Unlimited and now I can’t wait to open up more packs.

Got in my Jurassic Park cards from Secret Lair. Now to just add them to some decks and get the. Put on the battlefield.
I had some friends introduce me to a game called Zombicide by CMON several months ago and I really enjoy it. This was from our game over the weekend and we almost had it. My friend and I were at the exit and on the zombies’ turn, an abomination showed up. We had no chance against the horde that had been building and were overwhelmed.
Even though we lost, we still had fun. And now I’ve caught the bug and want to get some of the other expansions so we can try out the different variations.

While in Japan, I finally got to visit and picked up this cute guy. It was a random box and then the acrylic background was separate. I’m quite pleased with the purchase and now kind of want more.

This past year, I started a new job and didn’t really get around to a lot of painting. But something I did paint were gifts for a couple of friends I go to travel around Japan with. I was quite happy with how they turned out and think my friends appreciated the gifts.
I’m hoping that in 2024, I’ll be able to paint more.
While traveling around Osaka, we stopped in at the Nintendo shop. There was so much I wanted to buy but just walked away with a few items. The Duck Hunt amiibo was a must and then I couldn’t pass up the Super Famicom controller. I’ll have to get the Famicom controllers next time.

While in Japan, one shop I wanted to visit was a sticker shop called While there, I may have went a little overboard with buying stickers.
Also, the last page has stuff I got from the Pokémon shop in Osaka and since I got more stickers there, I included it with the other two photos.
While in Japan last week, I stopped by some shops that had old Nintendo products on sale. There was a lot I really wanted to buy but couldn’t get it all. I’ll be back in Japan to spend more time in these shops because it was a lot of fun browsing their stock.
I got to meet today while I’m Seoul. It was awesome chatting with him and hopefully I didn’t talk his ear off(which I can do.) He drew this really nice picture of Wolverine which will go into the new place. Now just need to find a frame to put it in.

Since getting the Shatterbox on Monday, I’ve been able to paint up these minis. Had a few mishaps with the Clone Troopers but I think Anakin came out nicely. Only 13 more minis and then I can paint the terrain.

Happy May 4th! To celebrate, I decided to start painting Boba Fett. It’s been awhile since I’ve put brush to paint, but it feels good to be back. Got most of the base colors down and then can start to work on details.

So… Breath of the Wild is no longer in my “games I should have beaten wall of shame”. I finally beat it. Who knew I just needed a new Zelda to come out to motivate me to finally put all other games aside and just do it. I loved the game and feel bad I rushed a bit to make sure I could beat it before Star Wars: Jedi Survivor came out so I could play it before the new Zelda came out.

A friend and I played A version of Baldur’s Gate draft today and I really like this play style. I’d love to build commander decks around a few packs with some friends more. Just made it a really enjoyable experience.
Also, got super lucky with four of the five mystic dragons! Crazy pants.

Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time has been completed. I had a lot of fun with this game and enjoyed most of it. However, the end was a bit much. It felt like no matter what I tried, I just couldn’t get enough damage to the final boss. The whole lead up to the final boss was rough. It felt like I wasn’t strong enough to do what was necessary. But I was able to manage a win even if I did have to stoop to the game’s level and be kind of cheap with my attacks. If you enjoyed Samurai Jack growing up, you will enjoy this game. I beat Crossing Souls for Switch recently and am kind of sad it’s over. It was so much fun to play and had a really good story. It does a great job of entertaining you and then, BLAM, it hits you in the gut and makes you want to cry. The cartoon cutscenes were fun to watch and I loved all of the references to the movies, games, and cartoons I grew up with. Have you played Crossing Souls? What did you think?
