As we are about just about to start into the halfway mark of SEASON 3 OF MOK!!! ALREADY!!

We just wanted to say thank you to all of you - THE BEST BACKGROUND TALENT A GIRL AND HER TEAM COULD ASK FOR - who are constantly watching our page to submit for this show - every previous project and we know the ones to come!

12 years ago I started this page for extras casting while working on Foxcatcher not having any idea where it would lead and thanks to ALL OF YOU - I still get to do this job everyday that I love so very much. ��

Casting can be tricky with last minute requests, additional scenes, cutting or moving scenes, weather, specific and some very unique requests! It can be ridiculously fun too! It is so nice to have a community of people like you to back us when we start shouting out we need something to meet the needs of a production to nail the look of a show. ��

We see your emails and we know everyone is very eager to always be part of it (especially once you get on set - we know a lot of you want to return). We try to get everyone on that matches our demographic and needs of the show - but of course are also limited to how many people they request. As many of you may not know - my staff is usually limited to only 2-3 people total including myself -Overseeing everything - so we really appreciate your patience and kindness - especially in moments of pure chaos. Hi everyone! I just wanted to take a moment and address a few frequently asked questions I have been seeing in the inbox!

*We are currently booked for 1/16 prison - if you have not heard from us by now stating you are booked via email, you are not booked. However, we are building a cancellation back up list for those who are interested in being added. Everyone who has submitted for this prison scene we will absolutely reach out to for future prison dates! (there certainly will be more)

*If I submitted - how soon will I know?
If you submitted an application to work as a background actor - AWESOME! We are going to be hiring from now - May. You can hear from us at anytime. If you applied via Airtable - we received your application. Same as if you wrote in through our email account.

*I've emailed and I haven't heard back:
We receive a lot of applications and emails at a time - in our high volume times of booking- it's hard to reply to every email in a timely fashion. We appreciate your patience and we will answer as soon as we can. Sometimes we start responding to emails for specific submissions when we are ready to start booking that scene.

*I submitted I was available - does that mean I am booked?
No - please wait for us to send you an email saying that you are booked. We never book via Facebook post/ Facebook messenger. We will start with emails, move to texts, then phone calls if necessary. Please be sure to check your spam. Unfortunately if you wait to get back to us, we likely will have filled the scene. We are happy to consider you for something else.

*Please remember non-union background work is never guaranteed - our schedules are fluid and the weather can change our work - anything can change at any time. We do our best to update you on schedule changes as best we can - and if something gets canceled we will try to book you for a different day at a later date.

- The casting process is starting and will continue all the way through May when we wrap up! That means you could hear from us at any time over the next 6 MONTHS! Filming will begin Mid January :) If we post something that you match and are available for - please send an email!

- Sometimes we post specific specialty things we are looking for like Photo Doubles, Bag Pipers, Babies, Featured Roles, etc... these usually come with special rates... feel free to follow the instructions to submit for these opportunities as they come up!

- We also post for Rush Calls or last minute changes to the schedule to see who can fill those spots!!
