Ready Made Black Marble from ETA Diorama Accessories, code 1364 for most scales (as 1/32, 1/35 &1/24....). Just cut to size for the wooden base and glue the piece to place....I used the new reliable PVA white Glue from Green Stuff World that is drying very quickly and matt. That's it!
As I promised here it is the video explaining how to shortcut painting the accessories of a tank or for other use. Shortcut painting of 1/35 Accessories. Of course for this technique it is very important the proper cleaning (re engraving details if needed) of the molding lines or small defects. Here all of these are coming from the old Tamiya kit for T-34/76 1942 35049 that used to offer on 80's. So to have the best finish you must clean and help the casting so the following technique will be effective. The priming must be done with a very matt and "hard" Black primer so the drybrushed layers will adhere better on the surfaces. I recommended the Spray Can Matt Black Primer from Acrylicos Vallejo or for brush painting the Green Stuff World Matt Surface Black Primer. More details are following.

And here we have the complete assembled Model of the PzKpfw T-60 743(r) in 1/35 scale from Mister Craft (050030). The re boxing from Mister Craft was done by offering decals for 6 painting Schemes for captured Russian tank under German use. You must be careful with the instructions sheet as it is showing the full kit with extras and photo etched parts that now are not included. The AK-Interactive liquid glue helped us a lot with gluing the fenders and all small parts as it dries quickly and makes strong connections. But definitely the kit is not for beginners...More information for the whole series of Mister Craft and can be found on www.astromodelstore.com and for the Glue at www.ak-interactive.com

Russian Soldier WWII with Tokarev SVT-40 rifle, Eastern Front War 1/35 scale. The figure is made from injection plastic from the Dragon Models 1/35 Ostfront Winter Combatants 1942-43 code: 6652. The head is a new one from Hornet. The sling of the gun is scratch built. This figure has been painted some years ago but I think will be nice to be here. I used Vallejo acrylics and Glaze Medium. I tried to depict the heavy woolen finish of the greatcoat! The figure is strongly fitted to a wooden varnished base and has a scratch built groundwork. The colors' selection has been made after historical research, so that the result is as close as possible to the Russian Infantryman of the ERA.
Can we prime Soft Plastic Tracks with brush? Yes we can, using the Primer for Tracks by AK-Interactive AK185. You can use also the new Ak-Interactive 3Gen Primers! No dilution needed. We just wash the tracks with dish detergent and warm water using an old toothbrush. Leave them to dry very well. It is better to use a Flat brush. If you are going to do a lot of weathering after 48 hours paint a second layer. I did not do a second layer as I kept the weathering to minimum.
