I hate that you can’t trust the build quality of anything these days. Literal BRAND NEW radiator. WHY is this even something you would thread into? Less than 2 hours of driving and it came off. Threads are stripped. Come on. Made for a lot of issues that wouldn’t have been there if this held together like you’d expect a brand new name brand radiator should.

Little bit of heat management to try to stop melting my passengers shoes lol. Finally ready for on Friday. I do NOT like this last minute stuff. Been working on the car ALL DAY yesterday and today. All leaks taken care of. New thermostat. New radiator. New radiator support fabbed up. Hood vents and hood pins all done this week! Let’s go! Can’t wait.

All of the work put into the RX8 paid off BIG TIME! The car handled amazing and I didn’t have any fuel issues until I ran the tank dry lol. Thanks so much to all the media that was there for posting these shot!! is the only one I could find on insta. Data logs showed 89.4mph as my top speed on entry here!!! I know I sent it HARD one time trying to catch @misterzedshreds so I know I was entering this track FAST but I’m going to assume that was 89 with wheels spinning lol. The entry at this track was a hell of a lot of fun though! @cmd_catchmydrift could have turned the AC on though. They let it get WAY TOO HOT 🥵. So that’s points deducted there!

When you’re going through your video footage finally and remember this exact moment thinking. “Oh he’s gonna hit that wall I better back off, oh nice. He didn’t hit!” Then you see he actually DID hit lol. Luckily the rear just buckled and didn’t spin him out. That could have been bad for both of us! @okdrift.inc

The level of drivers that came out for this @cmd_catchmydrift #sofaking comp event was next level. This was my qualifying run and it wasn’t even good enough to be in the first round pick for top 24 drivers!!! That shows the skill in this comp right there! I screwed up my second chance at qualifying which kept me out of the main event which sucks. But it is a learning opportunity and I learned a LOT this weekend. I know what changes I need to make with the car and what I need to work on personally. I WILL come out better for the next event! That I promise!
