New hotel review: "The Parkroyal brand by Pan Pacific hotel group has a long and strong presence in Singapore, with multiple properties, and now also the Parkroyal COLLECTION as a recent brand addition.

Their Beach Road property is a one the hotel’s from the brand and that has stood the test of brand. It has also been refurbished as Happy Hour Asia returns to explore what has been accomplished. The previous visit was back in 2008, in fact during the inaugural Formal 1 event in Singapore which caused such a buzz."

Hotel review: Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit, a well-established downtown Bangkok hotel with its iconic façade, has a location hard to beat by most other five-star establishments in the Thai capital. The closest resemblance for the gleaming modern glass-and-steel structure hotel building is the front of a cruise ship, thanks to its curved façade facing the street.
This Pullman is also an established popular buffet and brunch locale highly appreciated among locals for its affordable price.

"Like all other guests of InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, Happy Hour Asia’s representative really enjoys savouring the superb service and being pampered by this ultra quality hotel brand. One always feels extraordinarily and genuinely welcome at InterContinental and its properties do not fail to impress when it comes to luxurious service and hospitality.
Next hotel in line to explore within the brand, and a highly anticipated stay, was their new waterfront destination in Hua Hin (opened in late 2009) – a design-oriented resort with the personalization and intimacy of a boutique hotel that must be a pilgrimage stop of sorts for brand followers. Essential bar news from Happy Hour Asia: 13 out of the 20 top spots in the Asia’s 50 Best Bars awards for 2022 went to drinking venues in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia (part of the areas currently covered by Happy Hour Asia) with Coa in Hong Kong taking the top spot and The Best Bar in Hong Kong.

Singapore’s bar scene meanwhile continues to stay strong with three bars listed in the top ten! In fact, Singapore secures 11 positions on the list, with Jigger & Pony ranking No.2 and named The Best Bar in Singapore.
