Here is the setlist from last night's show. Congrats to Anthrophobia: 2024's most played artist, and the 1st band to reach #1 for the 2nd time (go check out their new album on Bandcamp!)

Tonight at the top of the hour, your weekly installment of the heavy and the strange will be LIVE! It is our last show of the year, which means it will be the 28th edition of our bi-annual Coverthon! So, tonight will be all cover songs. If you have a request for a cover song, or want to find out if a favorite artist has a cover song or someone covered a song of theirs, feel free to make a request in the chat room. This week's random album to be Resurrected From the Dungeon ironically happens to be a tribute album: An obscure album from 1991 paying tribute to an artist who is probably more famous for his ex-wife than the hit songs he wrote in the 60's. The random track chosen was originally recorded by Jackie DeShannon, but became more popular later by another group.

We are LIVE! Tonight we'll have new track tracks from David Judson Clemmons and Lunar. We'll also have tracks from Beardfish, Chain Code, Denigrate, Dysrhythmia, Opeth, Traversus, and much more. This week we'll be resurrecting 2 random albums from the dungeon: The 1st from 1988: a band that is requested a bit on this show, and an album that DJ Fist of Liege of Cookies played a different track on his last show. The 2nd a 1992 compilation of hard rock/metal bands from Epic Records, with the random track chosen a band whose singer passed away earlier this year, and grew up where I first started DJ'ing.

Tonight we'll be paying tribute to Peter Sinfield, lyricist and co-founder of King Crimson, who passed away last week. We'll also have tracks from Anthrophobia, Chain Code, CrusHuman (CBR's Band of the Month), Caligula's Horse, Dysrhythmia, The Flying Luttenbachers, Grahf, The Jesus Lizard, The Pineapple Thief, The Symbolist, and much more. This week's random album to be Resurrected From the Dungeon is a compilation of 80's tunes, with the random track chosen being one of the rare hits in the U.S. to have been sung in a foreign language.

Tonight we'll have the *WORLD PREMIERE* of the new Anthrophobia single, which you can only hear here until it's release date on Friday. It's another week, so we'll have yet another new track from Pocket Healer, as well as tracks from Bacalou, BTK (Bind Torture Kill), Chain Code, Christpipe, Defeated Sanity, The Flying Luttenbachers, Forever in Transit, Frost*, Kilpréz, Land of Chocolate, Seasons Of The Wolf, Marnie Stern, Zeal & Ardor, and much more. This week's random album to be Resurrected From the Dungeon takes us to 1991, the 6th album from this British Progressive Rock band. The random track chosen happens to be a song that was removed from the album prior to release (my cassette was an advance copy), so unless you have the remaster, you may never have heard it before.

Tonight we'll have tracks from Chain Code, Eternal Crypt, Fabulae Dramatis, Forever in Transit, Gravehuffer, Maitreya, Sandveiss, Shumaun, The Symbolist, URSA, 𝐕𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐆𝐄, Voidchaser, and much more. Since we were off last week, we'll be Resurrecting 2 random albums from the Dungeon: A 1994 demo from a short lived Glendale, CA Alternative Rock band, and a the 1973 debut album from a Boston member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band that lasted much longer.
