Today we remember our namesake, the great Marvin Hamlisch, on his 80th birthday. Although Marvin left us too soon, but he left a tremendous legacy of music and mentorship. We’re sending our love today to Terre Blair Hamlisch and Marvin’s friends and family as we remember him.

We were so saddened to hear of the passing of the wonderful lyricist Marilyn Bergman, pictured here with Marvin and her husband and co-lyricist Alan after their Oscar win for “The Way We Were” in 1974. Our thoughts are with Alan and their loved ones.
