Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon Series 8 Gen 1 yesterday. The SoC is based on the Samsung’s 4nm node. This follows Last month announcement Dimensity 9000 which is also based on same 4nm node but from TSMC. With this launch the naming of further SoC will be Series followed by 8/7/6/4 etc. as well. Last week an increase in mobile tariffs was announced by Vodafone Idea which was then followed by Airtel and now by Reliance Jio as well. Hike in tariffs began in action from 25th of Nov for VI and 26th Nov for Airtel and now from today the hike will be applicable for the users of Jio as well. On average the plan prices (₹) have been hiked by 20% by all three of the Telecom companies.
