Behind the Scenes Testing
Well that went well.
The Battle of Athens
We're dealing with some illness this week so you get something we've recorded about a year ago but it went straight to YouTube instead of on podcast. Something to keep in mind, this was recorded BEFORE the elections of 2020. That being said, it is still a great story from American history that shows just how fragile our liberties can be, especially if there aren't strong men (and women) willing to take a stand and defend those liberties. If you haven't watched this before, or if you just want a refresher on the tale, enjoy, thanks for the support and we'll catch you all next week with a brand new episode.
The year is 1946. A lot of soldiers have returned to their homes from fighting overly controlling governments in Europe and the Pacific to find that in their town of Athens, the seat of McMinn County, Tennessee, has been taken over by corrupt politicians. The sheriff and his deputies are shaking down the citizens to squeeze any penny they can get out of them. They're all linked to a bigger political machine that potentially went all the way to the federal government. Join us on a journey through possibly the most well documented case of voter fraud, suppression and outright political crimes against citizens ever documented in the United States and how the returning GI's were able to turn the tables on the Crump political machine.

Freedom or Fear
This week we take a step away from the news and politics to touch on, we feel, some extremely relevant history. Digging into Patrick Henry and Thomas Paine and the circumstances surrounding their more famous works and how they came to be. And then tying that all together into today's circumstances and Rand Paul's call to be civilly disobedient. At some point we are to decide where our lines are on the things we are willing to surrender. When that time comes, will you "bestir" yourself to hold that line, or will you let it slide out of "timidity" as Thomas Paine puts it. Thanks for the continued support, and please share and follow and such on our various platforms. We found out that we might have been caught up in Facebook's algorithms that might be keeping our podcast posting from distributing like it used to. Stay vigilant friends.

Race to Be Racist
Georgia! Texas! ID's! Oh my! This last week has shown us that any shred of investigative journalism is lost in MSM and any bit of critical thinking is gone in the rest of society. We decided to cover the blatant lies surrounding the "racist" voter ID laws in Georgia and Texas, because, as everyone knows, minorities don't have/can't afford/don't know how to get ID. We give a bit of an apples to apples comparison between the election laws and demographics of Georgia and Colorado (because the MLB decided Colorado is less racist than Georgia). Also, a different take on why it is that "they" are doing this to Georgia and Texas when there is zero logical reason to be reacting this way. We also point out some of why the media and prominent politicians have gone silent on the guy that ran over some DC police. Remember, the troops and fencing everywhere was to prepare for imminent attacks from violent extremists, so why doesn't this guy get coverage? We also share our beliefs and thoughts on the importance the principles of the Constitution of the United States and why it is worth defending. We also share an excellent example of what it means to be a sheepdog as governments look into more ways to restrict various liberties. All this and much more on this week's episode.
