NEW WORK! Warm, fuzzy, and just in time for the holidays. Directed by , the new music video for Willie Nelson’s holiday track, “Christmas Love Song”, is a visual love letter that unfolds through a series of intimate, collage-based illustrations that blend photography with hand-drawn details. Using 2D and 3D animation to bring it all to life, the overall effect perfectly complements the sincerity of the song.

“A little post-punk, a little mid-’90s Dischord, maybe even a pinch of Bauhaus or Joy Division - Vulture Feather have been one of my favorites since first hearing them a few years ago. Creatively, there is actually a hidden concept here — a metaphor visualized through the tension between natural environments and urban chaos. I wanted the idea to remain abstract, built more on tone and texture than plot, leaning into manipulated imagery, graphic layouts, animated intrusions, and rhythmic editing to mirror the song’s tension and emotion.” - Aaron Ray, Director  Watch the full music video on YouTube - link in our bio.

After 4 years in the making, Director ’s debut feature film, “André is an Idiot”, is premiering tomorrow at ! (Yes, the m’fing SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL!) If you’ll be in Park City for the festival, don’t miss it - there are 5 different screenings. If you can’t be there in-person, you can watch an online screening.
