The Lizard Lounge Bringing together the best in local talent every last Friday of the month at the HIFI Club. What more could you want…. We are always looking for new great music.

The concept of the night is to bring together 3 bands from Leeds and the surrounding areas and thus giving the support and recognition they deserve but also giving music lovers the chance to catch some very good up and coming outfits. The Lizard Lounge will occur every last Friday of the month providing the fix for live music in a city that seems to be turning even more in the direction of DJ cult

ure. What's great about coming down is not only the chance to watch quality bands and acts (for cheap) but you also get in free to one of the most highly regarded and longest running club nights in the north of England. Funk Soul Nation has be digging through funk's family tree since 1998 and continues to play the classic sounds of funk, soul and hip-hop mixed with intelligent contemporary beats and boogie. We have already sorted a lot of the line ups, pulled a few favours, twisted some arms a little too hard and persisted to annoy some friends to get involved. We also want to know of local bands you want to see so please let us know!
