Sincere Promotions is a media production company.

Pretty much exactly one year ago, we were chosen by Zhiyun amongst 9 other media producers worldwide to shoot a video about their new Smooth Q3 phone gimbal. Well, back then it was brand new.
We had zero budget for the whole thing and only about five days to write, plan, shoot, edit and deliver the video. As if that wasn’t stressful enough, the weather in this exact period of time was nothing but terrible. We had to shoot under a grey sky and during rain.
After that, Zhiyun promised to choose a winner and afterwards post all of our videos to all of their channels.
Unfortunately, they did not keep their end of the bargain and they never shared the videos. So we decided it was finally time to get this one out into the world wide web.

We want to thank the following people with all our hearts, for they were willing to spend hours in front of the camera, behind the camera, helping, carrying, acting in wind and rain, for nothing in return. We are so very grateful for you guys:world

We didn’t make it into the top 5, but we had fun and I think the video turned out pretty good, considering all the obstacles we had to overcome.

A juvenile black-palped jumping spider (Pseudeuophrys erratica) sitting in a dandelion.
This specimen was about 1mm in size and especially cute.

Shot on Canon R5 with Laowa 25mm Ultra Macro and a special helper tool that we won’t reveal just yet 😉

Ruby tiger (Phragmatobia fuliginosa)

This stunning creature is categorized as a moth, but it’s not exclusively nocturnal. It can be found in flight by day, in sunshine, but also from dusk and into the night.
Maybe this specimen hatched from the caterpillar we found a few weeks ago 😁🐛

There’s always more to a production than the expensive, bright shining stars we like to brag about 😉
There are monitors, shoulder rigs, camera bags, cables, battery packs, effect filters, mass storage devices, matte boxes, live streaming devices, screws, tape, and so much more.
All of it is important, but it’s definitely too much to address here.
Rest assured we are exceptionally well equipped to bring your vision to life!

Who doesn’t like long, elegant legs? We love ’em!
Especially when they are tough and sturdy.
Our favorite tripod is the Sachtler Flowtech 75 with its aktiv6 head. It’s fast, it’s robust, and it’s very innovative. We also love our gigantic and solid Sirui R-5214XL and our Manfrotto sticks and heads. These guys have to carry a lot of money, so they need to be reliable.

Different situations call for different microphones.
We have two Neumann TLM 103 mics for studio recording, a Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun mic, a Rode Lavalier II, and three Rode Lavalier GO for interviews, as well as a bunch of other dynamic mics and shotgun mics. Recordings in the field are captured on the Zoom F6.

Without motion, a video is just a picture.
We use motorized sliders and heads for precise motion control.
Our edelkrone ecosystem is great for time-lapse or interviews and – of course – dolly shots.

We love shooting on gimbals. It’s just a lot of fun!
To carry our heavy cine-setups, we need strong motors.
The Zhiyun Crane 3s Pro has enough power to balance a 6Kg heavy RED build.
That’s why we have two of it.
We also have the originalDJI Ronin as backup.

Aputure AL-MC
A lot of small lights can have a big impact!
Especially if they are as capable as the AL-MC.
They offer a 360° color hue, a white spectrum from 3200–6500 kelvin, wireless charging, magnetic backplates, effect modes, and even a color picker, which is a great tool. They also can be linked and controlled via app.

The Gemini 1×1 is super fun to work with. Not only do you get a super accurate white spectrum, but you also get control over 16.7 million colors as well as a bunch of effect templates like fire, lightning or emergency. It’s also flicker-free, dimmable, and can run on battery if needed.

Aputure LS 600d Pro - Let there be light!
“LS” stands for light storm.
And that’s a pretty good keyword for this mobile “sun”.
This 600W daylight LED can output 8500lx at 3m distance.
Its ability to run on battery and its dedicated accessories, the “Lantern”, “Barn Doors” or ” F10 Fresnel”, make it a great fit for almost any situation.
It is also weather resistant, flicker-free and dimmable!

The Canon R5 is a professional full-frame camera we mainly use for photography. But if you’re on a tight budget, we can offer you the Canon R5 for shooting your video. It’s capable of recording up to 8K at 30fps in Canon RAW
or 4K 120fps in Apple ProRes.

March 3rd was and we may be late to the party but better late than never. We just couldn’t withhold this cutie from you.
This is a common crab spider (Xysticus cristatus). Ain’t she beautiful?
Pay attention to the flicker in her lower pair of eyes and to her small fangs. You can clearly see her producing saliva as she is cleaning her pedipalps.
