In 2023 I decided to revisit one of my very early tracks, 'Silent Dawn, Grey Twilight'. I always felt like this song had potential to sound bigger and even more epic. So, more than 10 years after it was initially released on my 'Music For Quiet Mornings' album, here's 'Silent Dawn, Grey Twilight - 2023 Version'. Many thanks to wonderful people who helped me with the recordings: violin by Natali Dzizinska, drums by Andrii Bogdanov, bass/mixing by Mykyta Yudin, recording engineer Valentyn Zhulenko, mastering by Taylor Deupree.

Today we're putting out a very special release. 'Colors' is a benefit compilation by amazing artists from all over the world. Russia's war against Ukraine is a complete disaster. Meaningless and cruel bloodbath that doesn't have right to exist in a modern world. We're uniting our efforts to bring an end to this as soon as possible. Even small donations make a big difference.

All proceeds from this release will be split 50/50 and donated to two of the most reputable non-governmental organizations in Ukraine: Come Back Alive and Hospitaliers.

We're preparing to release a benefit compilation for Ukraine on October 7th. All proceeds will be used for a good cause. The tracklist is absolutely stellar. Here's an answer I got from one reputable website after asking them to promote it:

"Unfortunately we plan our coverage 2-3 months in advance so I don't have any space to mention this - very sorry about that! Please give me a longer heads up in future."

Yeah, next time there is war in our country we will be absolutely planning things for 2-3 months in advance, sure thing...

Not whining though. Consider this an announcement :]

‘Wil Bolton and Ian Hawgood's latest collaboration was sourced and developed utilising modular synths recorded onto cassette and reels. A more decayed and electronic sound than their highly celebrated debut 'Transparencies' on Home Normal in 2017, 'Emerging' marks the beginning of a new series of collaborations between the pair of ambient-electronic stalwarts.

We're very happy to announce our summer release! We'll release a new album called 'Above the Neon Glow' by Wil Bolton on July 9th.

‘Above the Neon Glow’ is inspired by moments of shade and tranquility in the blistering heat of a New York summer. Guitars, mellotron, analogue and modular synthesizers and effects pedals combine with field recordings made in Coney Island, Brighton Beach and Williamsburg, on a bench in Central Park, outside a subway station in Queens and from an apartment window high above the traffic buzz and neon glow of Manhattan.
