TODAY IS THE DAY! The new album by The Idiot Kids, ‘Chapels’, is streaming everywhere AND there’s a release party tonight, 12/2, at Outer Limits Lounge in Hamtramck!

We were VERY excited about this, although a wrench was put in our plans when the covers were shipped to US and not to the pressing plant…sooo, vinyl will be arriving Tuesday instead of today. Solid!

For the first time in six years, they will take the stage on Friday, 10/20, at Lager House. To say we’re excited would be a MASSIVE understatement. Hey, all! Jarrett here. Here’s a photo of me and some of my favorite albums by my favorite band, Sloan! I’m beyond excited that Patrick from Sloan is coming with his new outfit FUZZED OUT to play at the tenth anniversary of Jett Plastic near the end of this month. This is the first ever US show for Fuzzed Out and only their second show EVER. HUGE! I’m beyond honored.

The VERY LAST copy of the Rocket 455 ‘Wax Mage’ variant is now available on the Jett Plastic webstore. Found while digging through the merch horde in preparation for the fest later this month. On the A-Side is ‘Late Nite’, a longtime live Rocket favorite, while ‘Bone Broke’ is on the B-Side- a track written by Jack White, given to Rocket, and then later repurposed by White for inclusion on the White Stripes “Icky Thump” album!
