Daughters of Promise was founded in 2010 by Rachel Schrock, a 23 year old writer and creative who had a big dream to touch the lives of women worldwide through the written word. The project began as a humble 10-page newsletter, emailed monthly to a small band of readers, and has grown to a full-page magazine produced by a team of 5 Jesus-loving ladies. men of the Anabaptist denomination, Daughters of Promise is dedicated to introducing women to Christ as our Healer, Motivator, and Savior. We believe that our own efforts are filthy rags, and that true Life is found in a relationship of responsive love to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Daughters of Promise takes special interest in the creative talents of other women, and provides a platform from which they may share. Guest contributions of written work, design, and photography propels DOP forward, and we are forever grateful to the ones who have so graciously lent their gifts to this ministry. Daughters of Promise is available in printed and digital form. If you wish to subscribe, please visit our website: www.daughters-of-promise.org.

Our Story

Daughters of Promise was founded in 2010 as a short, monthly email newsletter to encourage conservative women in their walks of faith. Today, it is a quarterly print magazine that is distributed around the U.S., Canada, and several international countries.

Daughters of Promise magazine is built on Biblical principles and expressed in conservative Anabaptism. We take special interest in cultivating the voices and talents of women, offering a platform from which many can share. Above all, the goal of this ministry is to equip women for wholly healthy living through an identity that is rooted in Jesus Christ. Daughters of Promise is available in printed and digital form.
