We are a West Yorkshire based record label and management company founded in 2012. It all started by putting gigs on for local bands who were finding it hard to get booked. Our very first venture was a punk rock gig at The Red Shed labour club. Before long we were putting on all dayers, usually held at the Snooty fox in Wakefield. Eventually we began putting on gigs so often that it seemed logical
to give our selves a name. Being that This whole thing started out by because we wanted to help up and coming bands Under Dogz Records seemed like the perfect name. It was only a matter of time before we began publishing fanzines and had a stall at the gigs. Within 12 month we had released 3 albums, 3 fanzines, 2 EP’s and had our own monthly Punk night at Warehouse 23. We have put on bands such as UK SUBS, GBH, Vice Squad, Slaughter and the dogs, Subhumans, Discharge, and Abrasive wheels to name a few. In 2014, the label manager Phil Howcroft and Sandra Gregory-Tait registered Under Dogz as an official limited company and began financing it. All profits would go straight back into the label to help pay costs towards future releases and merchandise. We are now on the lookout for bands to help further our roster.
