Cc: My wife just blew my f—-ing mind. I was telling her about this creator that says she has “reverse body dysmorphia”. Like she walks around feeling all thin and beautiful and then she looks in the mirror and she’s like “oh yeah, I’m pretty big”. And I told Christine that I felt like I related to that, like I walk around, feeling thin and then I look in the mirror or see a photo and remember that I weigh like 250lbs. Christina stopped me and said “what do you mean you feel thin?” And before I had time to respond she said “do you mean you feel good about yourself and then when you look in the mirror you realize that you don’t deserve to feel as good about your body as you actually do?” And that blew my mind because that’s exactly what the f—-it is, it’s society telling me that I shouldn’t feel as good about my body as I do. But when I’m walking around and I’m not judging myself by society’s standards, I feel f—-ing great. So I need to just not care. Internalized fat phobia is a bitch, though. So we’ll see.
