We love sprinters. We love bobsledders, too. We especially love sprinters/bobsledders......from Detroit.

Detroit's Lauryn Williams made history when she won Olympic medals in both the summer and winter Olympic games. Last week, Lauryn announced that she's retiring from sports. Here's our interview with Lauryn just after she won the World Championships in the 100 meter dash.

Prize money, anyone? The Martian Meteor 10K and Marathon are offering prize money—over $4000 in the 10K and $3600 in the marathon (must run under 2:25:00 men and 2:50:00 women to be eligible for marathon prize money). Race date/location is Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Dearborn, MI. Complimentary entries to those who qualify for both distances. Contact Rich at [email protected] for details and an application.
