Hailing from Los Angeles, Berthold City was founded in 2017 by vocalist Andrew Kline, renowned for his guitar work in Strife and World Be Free, and his role as head of WAR Records. The band features core members guitarist Dennis McDonald (Internal Affairs) and bassist John Jenkins (Allegiance), and has released one album and several EPs while touring extensively across the US, Europe, and Mexico.
With the recent addition of drummer Todd Hennig (Death By Stereo), Berthold City is poised to release their most powerful material yet. Their upcoming album, Where Did We Go Wrong?, produced by Nick Jett (Terror, Piece By Piece), delivers 12 tracks of high-energy hardcore with anthemic choruses, dynamic arrangements, and blistering fast parts to satisfy even the most discerning hardcore fans. The album also features guest appearances by Thomas Barnett of Strike Anywhere and Jason Lehrhoff of Warzone.
