ONIES in its press release mentioned that it's impossible for CRTV to broadcast the match in Garoua.

"Regarding the broadcast of this match if it were to be played in Garoua, it is impossible to lift the constraints related to the production and broadcasting of the international TV signal within the time limits given to us. Indeed, CRTV, a public service TV operator, is the only one capable of ensuring the TV retransmission of an international level match in Cameroon.

To do this, it has significant production resources and several fixed uplink signal stations, including in Garoua. The signal production units, although of high capacity (20 cameras each), are four in number: two OBVAN type (mobile control room vans) and two fly case type.

The major drawback is that since none of these devices are positioned in Garoua, they would have to be moved from their current sites (Yaoundé for the OBVANs), (Douala and Limbé for the fly cases). For the OBVANs, it would be necessary to travel 950 km and drive at very low speed because of the risk of accidents, to give themselves time to install them on site, the Garoua stadium not being pre-cabled and to carry out tests for about ten days. This brings the time required to make the TV signal available in Garoua to a minimum of 20 days.

As for the fly cases that are easily transported by air freight, they cannot be installed in Garoua, whose stadium does not have an appropriate technical room. In the time between now and the September 7 deadline, it is therefore materially impossible to envisage a TV broadcast of this match, which would deprive many compatriots and Namibians of the possibility of being able to watch the said match on the small screen."

Why Are Diesel Engines Louder Than Petrol Engines?

If you've ever stood next to a diesel truck or car, you've probably noticed how much noisier it is compared to a regular petrol vehicle.

But why is this?

The main reason diesel engines are louder comes down to how they work.

Diesel engines use something called "compression ignition," while petrol engines use "spark ignition." This difference is key to understanding the noise level.

In a petrol engine, fuel mixes with air and is then ignited by a spark plug. This happens in a controlled way, creating a relatively smooth and quiet explosion.

Diesel engines work differently. They squeeze (or compress) air so much that it gets super hot. When fuel is injected into this hot air, it explodes on its own without needing a spark.

This explosion in diesel engines is more sudden and violent. It's like the difference between slowly pressing down on a balloon until it pops, versus hitting it hard with a pin. The diesel "pop" is much more forceful, creating more vibration and noise.

Another factor is that diesel fuel is thicker and heavier than petrol. When it's injected into the engine, it makes a louder sound. Plus, diesel engines normally run at lower speeds but with higher pressure, which can add to the noise.

The engine parts in diesel vehicles are also usually heavier and more robust to handle the stronger explosions. This extra weight can lead to more vibration and, you guessed it, more noise.

Lastly, while modern technology has made diesel engines quieter than they used to be, they still tend to be louder than their petrol counterparts.

So next time you hear that distinctive diesel rumble, you'll know why.

How The Late Sound Sultan Handed Timaya over To Me in Port Harcourt At Diana Hotels Rumuugbo in 2006 ➖ 👉 Olalekan Da O-Square

It was The Raypower FM PH Grand Slam in 2006/2007, The Late Sound Sultan just arrived from The Airport alongside W4, Intruder and Some other Big Names from Lagos.

I was taking Sultan to his hotel room and then a young man was behind us on the stairs.

Sultan turned back staring at me and the young man and said, Square this na my boy, him name na Timaya, he is good, abeg promote am.

I turned and looked at Timaya, you be Ph boy? He said Yes, you know me? He said yes boss O-babaski, i told him if he is a PH boy, he knows where to catch me and i gave him my number to call.

We finally met at Nite Box and i asked him to go give his song to the DJ, The song was Dem Mama and that was how great history started.

Back then, in 2 weeks, if your song is good and plays on my show, you automatically become a big star in PH.

Timaya took over the city, everyone knows the rest of the story.

We became friends and brothers.

I am glad that we are still pretty much active in the game and absolute wave makers, with him a global music star releasing his 9th studio album today and me a 4 Time General Manager of a radio station in Lagos.

I remember Tapas bar, i remember Haruk road and so many other things and things 😅😅😅

Happy Birthday my friend Egberi papa Timaya, the one who made me have dreadlocks in 2007, he will twist my hair bit by bit and so i joined him in having locks.

I am proud of your heights and achievements.

Pa Ngwa don catch fire with Achu Normad Over Manka e Social Media Handles Dem.

Dear friends and followers of the 'Pa Ngwa and Manka Spice' comedy duo, I have created a new page for Manka Spice because I no longer have access to the other page.

I didn't want this to get this far, but as of now, I have no choice, when I began this comedy journey and decided to work with my little sister Manka, I wanted to create an avenue for her to flourish. A few months back, I was approached by Achu Normad who adviced I create social media pages for Manka independently, I couldn't at that time because Facebook had some restrictions on page creation, so he offered to create it, he created a Facebook, Tiktok and Instagram and gave me some few ideas for some skits. He later made me admin. I accepted little did I know one day I was going to go sour.

The content Manka and I, I have made together, grew her a following of over 50,000 people on Facebook, and over 20,000 follows on tiktok. Finally, she was building her own community.

Why was I kicked out of a page I built? Some weeks back, Mr Normad got to me with a management contract for Manka Spice. The terms were not favorable, so I refused. I feel this rejection sparked the issues we have now, I want to acknowledge Mr Normad, and I have had a working relationship that involves mainly promotion around his artists' songs .

Very recently, after i refused the contract for Manka interest at heart, i stopped putting content on her page because i felt at this point we needed to reevaluate the working relationship we had especially knowing he Mr Nomad had created that page, so he went ahead to download videos from my own page 'PA Ngwa' added his artist songs at the background and reposted on Manka page this didn't seat well with me.

I confronted him, and he sent me 50,000, saying it's for promotion, and I noticed he removed me entirely from the page.

I quickly refunded his money and demanded two things.

PROPHET JEREMIAH SAY HE DON FORGIVE VERYDARKMAN AND THEN WITHDRAW THE CASE.

Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has announced that he is withdrawing the 1 billion Naira court case against Verydarkman (VDM).

In his statement, Prophet Jeremiah emphasized forgiveness, referencing the teachings of Jesus, who preached peace and corrected sinners.

He expressed hope that Verydarkman would learn from his mistakes and live righteously moving forward.
His words….

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was a guest on the New York times. He detailed his decision to represent the US, his inherent Cameroonian identity and why he turned down the French team.

JOURNALIST: Do you think of yourself as American?

JOEL EMBIID: " Nah, I think of myself as from Cameroon. That’s always going to be home. I was born there, and from what I’ve seen growing up; the struggle, I’ll always identify with it.

That’s one of the reasons I ended up succeeding: because of the way I was raised, the environment I was raised in. Nothing was ever comfortable. I always felt like I got to work for everything.

I started playing basketball at 16. It’s hard to make it when you start that old, especially because guys have been playing their whole life in America".

Embiid said he received so much pressure to play for France, which rather repelled him to choose the US. He said France even gave him a timeline

JOURNALIST: What was the timeline?

I didn’t know. You know, I saw it on Twitter, and I was like, Whoa, where did this come from? Because from the conversation that I had with the U.S., it was: Take as much as time as you need. We’d love to have you, but it’s OK if you make another decision.

Then when you’ve got someone else putting the pressure on you, making it seem like, Oh, you got to make the decision, we need it, we need it — I’m like, well, I got one person over here telling me; take as much time as you need.

But one thing that was always known was that Cameroon is the first choice, and if they qualify I’m playing for my home country. I had the opportunity to talk to the French president about what was going on, and I told him one thing that was kind of bothering me a lot was the relationship between France and Cameroon and Africa’s countries in general.
