When you hear music, it can instantly transport you to the exact moment you first heard it, or the most poignant memory but as well as that, the music we make can be a subconscious outpouring of all the things we’re experiencing at the time of creation, and hearing it again after sometime can be a fascinating experience. I loved early Bonobo because it felt like nothing I’d heard before. Check out Terrapin on Animal Magic as a good way into his stuff, if you haven’t heard it before.

Playing with Me and My Friends at the wonderful Camp Kin festival. Great to feel normality creeping back in, as are beginning to start back up. The sound was great for all the acts, all weekend, courtesy of Jack McCutcheon and everyone brought something different but equally special. This track, Oh Madame, can be found on Me and My Friends first record, Beneath a Level Head.
In the 4th video, you can see Fred smashing out a 🔥🔥 What a great crowd, throughout. So much fun to play with these people!
