It was a last minute trip. Shortest cruise l’ve ever been on. West palm Beach to Freeport, Grand Bahama.

Day 8: Paya Lebar to Yokota tips
✨You’ll want to signup at least 3 days in advance for the return flight, based off their 30 day flight schedule.
✨At sign-up only send in the form of ID you plan to use for each individual needing to access base. Kids 10 and under who you are traveling with that don’t have ID’s... you’ll send in their passport numbers & use their passport to access the base (this is accurate as of 2024)
✨The flight back to japan (yokota air base) is roughly 6 hrs and the current contractor has amazing food & entertainment options for this flight. It feels like you’re flying first class!

Things to know about flying Space A trom Paya Lebar Air Base - Singapore:
1. The Passenger Terminal is located in a restricted area. You’ll need to plan at least 3 days in advance by communicating with the Terminal.
2. The Navy Gateway & MWR are located about 25 minutes away from the terminal on an open section of the base.
3. The NEX is close by but on the restricted section of Paya Lebar.
4. Singapore is a great way to get to other Asia countries for pretty cheap. Once we got here most one way tickets cost between $50-$150 USD. Way cheaper than flying from the states in.
Tomorrow is interesting and we’ll explain more on how to avoid what we did so it doesn’t happen to you.

Getting your International Drivers Permit is easy! You’ll want one if you’re planning to travel abroad this summer…
so you can plan the most epic international road trip a bunch of different countries!
You may need an international drivers permit if you’re planning to rent a car or scooter in another country.
Many countries accept the AAA permit so we went with them when we were trying to decide where we should apply for and IDP.
The international drivers permit does not work to drive in the united states without a drivers license.
The entire procees of getting the international drivers permit took less than an hour (excluding the photos we had to get).

Things to know:
✨Guam Passenger Terminal is 👎🏽 (if this is your first SpaceA experience... do not think this is normal)
✨Yokota Passenger Terminal is 👍🏽
✨US Citizens get 90 days “Visa Free” in Japan
✨The terminal buses you to the private Immigration & Customs area designated for base so it’s a fast and streamlined process.
✨There’s a base shuttle that runs every 15 minutes taking you to a ton of food options.
