So 2nd leg of the trip I dropped into Kansas City! Decided to rent 2023 Model 3! First time actually driving one, I've been picked up in bigger ones for uber/lyft. After the trip and my experience with the car I see why people love them.

I always said I'd have to stop here if I dropped in Atlanta. Mission ACCOMPLISHED!! arrived only for the breakfast menu. OJ, that succulent chicken lathered in sauce on a biscuit soft enough to chew but not fall apart. AND IT CAME WITH CHEESE GRITS!! LAWD my ancestors were happy! Worth a stop any time I'm back here! Dream Con 2023

The growth we’ve seen has been really insane, but I promise it’s only up from here. The energy amongst the attendees was incredible & I saw all the relationships getting built.

Going from 6,000 to 20,000 was an intimidating feat & we’re working on plans for next year already. Please keep believing in our vision & we’ll be dropping surveys to get some ideas on what we can adjust!

We wish to share the news today that Yoko Takahashi will no longer be appearing at this year’s Anime Frontier because of a visa issue beyond Anime Frontier or Yoko Takahashi’s control.

Yoko Takahashi is an amazing performer who greatly wanted to meet her fans in Texas, and this cancellation is through no fault of her or her team. We’ve tremendously enjoyed working with Yoko Takahashi in the planning of her concert, and we hope we can welcome her in the future to share her music with fans across the Southwest.

Anime Frontier will be refunding all ticket sales for Takahashi-san’s concert, and all who ordered a concert ticket should see an email with more details in the next 72 hours.

And while Takahashi-san will no longer attend Anime Frontier, we will offer official Japanese EVANGELION products at our merch store, including rare CDs with a limited number featuring a postcard signed by Yoko Takahashi for her Texas fans.

Took me a minute to find this. Such a great person, I'm still upset I skipped dinner with him that year. I remember him being strong as an ox too! Passed him many times over the years on the con circuit. Believed and backed his new movie. I watch Forever Red once a year for him. I got into martial arts because of him. The greatest Ranger of all time! He shined so bright! I should have met him again. I'm still shocked and saddened. What a loss when you need a hero! Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger! Rest up King!
