Jabez Ledres, Set Teacher: Jabez brought his teaching acumen to set and helped us in a huge way. With his positivity, humor and kindness, he helped pull us through our most rigorous night of filming. A well-known musician in our scene, Jabez is the leader of celebrated ABQ pop funk band The Mango Cakes! Catch their next show if you can — you’ll dance! Thank you, Jabez!

Will See, Production Assistant: A great attitude, desire to work hard, a hunger to learn — that’s what our friend Will brought to set, and it was all he needed. This was his first PA job and he (very) quickly became a depended-on member of our team — learning not only how to PA, but how to rig lights and other equipment. PLUS, he’s an excellent musician who can be seen on stage at churches around town. Thank you, Will!

Taryn Lahey, Production Assistant: Taryn is a filmmaker from the same film program as Trevor (at CSU Monterey Bay). Having cut their teeth together, it was exciting to reunite for “A Scene from Sunset.” With years of on-set experience — and an amazing attitude — she jumped in wherever she was needed. From coffee runs to assisting with grip, talent, and more, Taryn was an incredible asset to our production. And she recently landed a full-time position at Netflix! Go Taryn! And thank you!
