We’ve accomplished a lot since the 60s and 70s, but we’ve also taken some huge blows recently in women’s & LGBTQ+ rights 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Here’s a few ways you can support women and the LGBTQ+ community in March & all year long:

⚧️ Follow & support women-owned, q***r-owned, & trans-owned businesses, organizations, and creators by engaging with their work, sharing it, & amplifying it.

Here are some of my favorite organizations that are doing amazing work for women & the LGBTQ+ community:






🏳️‍🌈 Voting with your dollars can go a lot further than you think. Shop at women, q***r, & trans-owned businesses. Start following the money inside your favorite companies & where that goes - does it go towards political parties or initiatives that hurt or help women, q***r, and trans folks? Use Open Secrets for this.

🏳️‍⚧️ Donate to organizations in your community that support and empower women and LGBTQ+ folks.

💸 Advocate for equal pay and pay transparency. Share your numbers with other women, q***r, & trans folks and share your strategies for negotiating. Knowledge is power - spread it.

📢 Be unapologetic about your support for women & LGBTQ+ folks. What does that mean? Denounce misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia any way you can - at work, the store, school, with your friends & family, and in online social spaces.

If your feminism doesn’t include q***r & trans folks, it isn’t feminism.

Alright, now let’s talk about working in an office vs remotely.

Working in an office for me was the worst.

I remember each time I would try to enter my flow state, a coworker would show up out of nowhere to ask a question that derailed it all. Or a boss would send me an urgent meeting request for something that could’ve been an email.

As a result, I would have to overextend my mental energy multiple times a day to make up for it. This cycle became quite exhausting for my brain, as it is for many folks with ADHD.

Enter remote work – no more distracting coworkers and noisy, uncomfortable office spaces. Remote work allows folks like me with ADHD to create a workspace that is tailored to their needs and preferences.

No matter how many corporate propaganda articles you read about how remote work hurts “company culture”, it’s revolutionary for making work more accessible.
