I’m not okay (I am just miserable)…I thought I was on the up and up yesterday bc I didn’t have a fever most of the day but today the fever is back with a vengeance along with terrible aches and pains and sometimes those aches and pains will pulse for a few seconds and sometimes they are sharp pulses. Along with all the other symptoms minus the digestive issues (but I don’t have an appetite so I’m not consuming as much as I normally would, just the bare minimum for sustenance and intake of fluids as best I can.)

Yay...so I have either RSV or the Flu...idk which but the last 2 days I have felt off and then this evening things have been intensifying but it’s not terrible...I’m okay! Just riding this out... may have to have get me stuff from the store since he doesn’t want me to door dash things🤣...off to
go sleep now!! That is one good thing about this, it’s forcing me to sleep and get the rest I need.

Here is some on an project that I was commissioned to complete (oops…was supposed to be done by )…I hope they like it!!! I was asked to do a floral design and I found this that called my name…I may add additional things in the background as I am using the design from on !!! Go check the designs in the shop as they are absolutely stunning!!!

This is being stitched in white cotton cloth with random threads that strike my fancy for this.

My first ever . I have never been able to knit until last week when all of a sudden it clicked in my head last week. This is a washcloth I began and finished today during the craft fair!!

Knitted using circular needles in size 8 with color 28005 (Sunny Day Ombré). I used almost a full 2oz ball for one washcloth.

100%…I left several places due to this list including one I had been at for years…a place I thought I would retire from but they had: bad leadership…my team crumbled and the blame was placed on us lower front line workers despite all the performance evals showing otherwise, the culture shifted causing the front line workers to tip toe through eggshells and we were gaslit through it all, no mobility for those doing the actual work and when management covers for other managers and don’t stick up for the staff there’s a problem, the things mentioned above killed my drive and spirit and no matter how I and those supported tried to re-ignite my flame, it was sadly extinguished for good under the current regime, and lastly, communication was absolutely awful from top down which bred misinformation, gossip, and things eventually getting back to you…I had won an award I was nominated for by this organization and when I was approached by the organization who presented the award about joining forces and expanding their network, my management team laughed and ridiculed me behind closed doors and yet it made it back to me because I had loyalty with many and they could see the wrong doings…I approached the management team upon my announcement of my departure and they did not fight for me and when they asked what they could improve on, every point was met with a reactionary response and not a response from a place of listening and caring about the experiences I and many others faced…I could tell the conversation fell on ears that were not listening and so I silently bowed out and left…I was grateful for my experience and the lasting impacts both made on me and others by me and I hope I can come visit them soon (although it seems like current leadership is not keen on that idea as I have been told that they have made mention “Robert under no circumstances is allowed here for a visit.” We shall see…hopefully they will learn from their mistakes and make a change for the better and hopefully it’s not too late.

Is what I said true for others experiencing the same things?

My Barbie x Stanley cup came in and I’m obsessed!!! Is is gorgeous and even came in a “Barbie-esque” box!!! This collab is everything!!

Excited to share that I’ve been approached about the Para-to-teacher program by our district’s Special Education Coordinator today. It’s an opportunity to transition from a paraprofessional to a certified teacher. Both my principal and special education teacher support this move, highlighting my strong rapport with students, proficiency in special education, and valuable support to general education teachers in handling special education students.

The coordinator has received glowing feedback from various colleagues and staff members about my contributions, underscoring the importance of retaining talent like mine within the district. Looking forward to this new chapter and the chance to make a difference as a Special Education Teacher!

Got some on 2021 SAL called The Fruits of Plenty!! I haven’t touched this one in a long time so it felt great getting several stitches into it!!

This is being stitched 1 over 2 on 40 count from .fabrics in white with DMC 3842 for the dark and 3843 for the light.
