Cutting the kids nails is always a battle in our house. The new nail kit is so cute. The fun characters for the scissors and clippers helped distract Olive so I could actually cut her nails 👌🏼⭐️ the adorable raccoon plus his helped too 🥰 it’s all about the art of distraction!

My energy levels have been terrible lately. Balancing 2 kids, work, content creation, breastfeeding, and winter sickness 😷 it’s been alot. My body has taken a major hit.

I’ve been trying [ad] electrolytes this week to help and it’s actually made a huge difference. I can feel my energy levels increasing by the day. It’s so easy to make too! I’ve been adding it to my routine morning pump while I work to keep on it and it’s helped heaps! This blend gives you an immunity boost too 🥰

In love with my new WFH desk accessory - bottle✨ it’s even got my name on it - so hubby has no excuse stealing it 😆

I love coffee, but I also love a good cup of green tea. This is the first reusable bottle I’ve found where it’s nice to drink tea from. The double glass wall helps to stay warm, and the beverage inside doesn’t come into contact with any plastic - so won’t affect the flavour.

I also love that I can see how much I’ve drunk through the glass - reminding me to keep drinking 🤪

The time has gone by in a flash, and yet she’s grown so much. It’s a bittersweet feeling, especially as she will be our last.

She knows what she wants and she goes for it, whether it’s your toast, her brothers toys, or cuddles with the person of her choice - she goes for it 😆♥️

It’s hard to believe she’s already 9 months old. I feel like I’ve missed so much and haven’t been able to embrace this baby stage thanks to sleep deprivation 🥲

The next few months I want to take in the moments more, embrace the little milestones and be more present. I’m really loving this 9 month development stage at the moment.

What baby stage was your favourite?

I’m now one step closer to an official neurodiversity diagnosis. The experience has made me feel incredibly validated. What I have felt, and sensed within myself, is now being recognised.

What this brings to mind is the unbelievable statistic that it’s estimated 80% of autistic women will remain undiagnosed when they leave school. This is a wildly high statistic, the main cause? As women we have been taught how to behave, how to present ourselves and what is socially acceptable at a very young age. It’s drummed into to us to behave a certain way. Therefore for those of us that are neurodivergent, we become experts at masking - me included 🙋🏻‍♀️

Looking back at my childhood, I see so many behaviours that are clearly neurodiversity traits. But, I hid them, and still do. I’ve always felt ‘different’, and am socially awkward, so instead overshare waaaayyy too much - if you’ve met me in person you will know what I mean 😆

So cheers to being heard, validated and finally being seen for the person I truly am ♥️

Sundays are for family ✨ today we had an awesome morning out to NM.

We had the most divine pastries I’ve ever tasted in NZ at [ad] today. Archer excitedly chose the chocolate one. I got to try the new brown sugar bubble tea soft serve, it comes in a croissant- and its amazeballs 🤤 I of course had to try some of Archers too 😝 swipe ➡️ to me trying to get a taste of his 😂

Motherhood can be beautiful and amazing, and it can also be hard. Today I’ve spent my Mothers Day reflecting on my journey as a mother, and how my kids have taught me so much in their young lives.

Being a mother can be lonely and isolating. So today I want to thank those that have supported me through my journey thus far. The ones that have listened, called, helped out and brought food at times of need. The ones that have checked in, and always been there - not just when times were good.

Today I also think about those that have lost, those that have carried, held and been there. I see you ♥️

Taking things one step at a time ♥️

We’ve spent the weekend just the 4 of us (and the doggos). It’s been nice to just be together. No commitments, just us as a family hanging out, spending time outside, doing housework and watching movies. Seems like an obvious thing to do right!? Well, there is always something on, an outing, someone to meet, errands or a social event. For once, the weekend was just us, and it was exactly what I needed.

I faced my post crash anxiety head on for the first time since the accident. I cried, I got angry, and I spoke openly about how I was feeling. It felt good to get it out, on my terms and when I was ready.

Olive and I started connecting again, and this quality time with no interruptions seems to have helped. My cup is slowly filling, it will take time, but I’m taking one step at a time ♥️ and it feels good 🥰
