Sick Addiction came about on a whim. Originally I started this "Studio" as it were, around the year 2000 to make cover art for DVD's and CD's. Eventually I even began to design poster art. In doing all this work, I later realized I needed a logo and brand of my own and thus "Sick Addiction" was born in 2006. How did I come about with the name? Over the years I kept doing various things under other monikers. Record Label (Backstage Worldwide), Promotions (Backstage KC), Clothing designs, Booking (Backstage KC), etc, etc. However, over and over, I have found myself coming back to graphic designs (at one point called Backstage Designs/Backstage Studios). I realized that a lot of my influences are drawn from Skull, Gothic, Horror and Monster based art. If you should ever visit my home, you would quickly discover how much it shows in my personal life. Some may come to the conclusion that I may have a fascination with death and destruction because of the this, but they would be wrong. I am fascinated with LIFE. Death and Destruction is only a reminder of how beautiful life truly is, and that we should strive to live it to it's fullest. In Art, Music, Love, Travel and even Food. Still, people get hung up on my "dark" thing, some people might even call it a "Sick Addiction". Well, it may be, but I have found that myself, and countless others share the same addiction for what it truly is a reminder of, LIFE! So with this realization, I have decided to combine, for the most part, everything I do and enjoy under this umbrella of truth about me. Welcome to my Sick Addiction...
