The Sun Ra 'Egypt 1971' 5LP box set has just been announced for the first Record Store Drop on 28th August. Featuring the three original albums 'Dark Myth Equation Visitation', 'Nidhamu' and 'Horizon' in their full original artwork along with 2 LPs of previously unreleased material from the band's concerts at the house of Hartmut Geerken in Heliopolis, the Ballon Theatre in Cairo and sessions for Egyptian TV. Includes a full 12"-sized booklet featuring rare and unseen photos and extensive liner notes by Hartmut Geerken and Ra authority, Paul Griffiths.
