Throughout his career, he has taken interviews of prominent intellectuals, artists, film makers, writers and performers of Bangladesh and India, as well as international celebrities who came to visit Dhaka. At present, he is producing, directing and hosting his own interview show named ‘InতাঁরView with Shimul Salahuddin’, one of the most talked about online interview show in the country. Shimul Salauddin is the founder of Galumgiri, a cultural organization that arranges cultural and literary events regularly with leading poets and intellectuals of the country. He is also a renowned poet of the country with a number of published and celebrated poetry books. Shimul has been the President of the Alliance of Cultural Organizations of Jahangirnagar University and the President as well as Secretary of cultural organization ‘Dhoni’. He has played vital roles in all historical anti-sexual harassment protests that took place in Jahangirnagar University during 2004 to 2010.
