This four-part docuseries captures how an underdog record label started a musical movement, smashed racial barriers, and launched the careers of trailblazing artists like Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, Booker T. & The M.G.’s, and many more.
The series debuts on HBO on Monday, May 20th with two episodes airing back-to-back (9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT), followed by the final two episodes airing on Tuesday, May 21 at the same time. Meanwhile, all four episodes of the series will be available to stream on Max on May 20.
