Tices Shoal is an area located on the bay side of Island Beach State Park, just east of Buoy #40 in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. This is an extremely popular site for boats and other water crafts to come and anchor for the day, with some boaters electing to spend the night as well. At times, boats in excess of 100 have been counted at Tices Shoal. Also known as the best party spot north of Atlantic City!
