Was an honor to have the film shown as part of the WSXA Paris festival. thank you for honoring the film with a finalist spot at this year's festival. Words can't explain how grateful I am that the film has had such a nice run with festivals and how Gabe's story has resonated with people around the world.
Next stop is back home to Melbourne on July 28th at Cinema Nova. Can't wait to celebrate the run this film has had with everyone.

Time to share some exciting news for everyone. My short documentary will be screening for the last time during the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival in July at Cinema Nova. If you're kicking around on Sunday 28th July, would love to see some familiar faces there. Tickets go on sale on June 1st, I'll post the ticket link once it becomes available.

Our History
PopeyJN began in September 2011 when founder/CEO Brayden Pope uploaded a stunt series in the vain of shows such as: Jackass, The Dudesons & Nitro Circus. The series launched the channel to the first few hundred subscribers and landing the cast a pilot episode that was filmed for Australia’s channel 10 network. Unfortunately the pilot (named ‘Maniac Men’) never saw the light of day for the Australian public. However, fellow cast members took the pilot episode to America as a calling card and landed a show on American television that Brayden Pope still serves as a writer on.
In late 2012 (after Maniac Men wrapped its last episode) the channel was reborn after a six month hiatus. The rebirth of the channel focused the attention onto gaming commentary instead with Brayden Pope serving as the only staff from 2012-2017.
From 2012 - 2016 the channel focused heavily on gaming commentary, garnering a staggering 5,000 + subscriber growth. With the exception of gaming, the channel also occasionally featured vlogs with Pope talking about his experience on the YouTube platform, as well as voice impressions that became a major success on the channel, with videos averaging 20-30,000 views.
In 2016, Pope also launched a new initiative on the PopeyJN channel; Charity LiveStreams. The first ever popeyJN Charity Livestream was held in April 2016 raising money for BeyondBlue and managed to raise $2,553 in a total of three hours.
As of 2018, PopeyJN has now got a team of four people (Brayden Pope included.) The company ‘PopeyJN Productions’ owns a private office space in Melbourne, Victoria with a future goal to expand into a YouTube talent management company.
