While I will be watching the "debacle" this evening, at least for a while, I am not taking any of it seriously. Neither of the moderators possesses an ounce of integrity of any kind, let alone journalistic integrity, and both are solidly in the tank for the walking prescription bottle, and documentally anti-DJT.

Time delays, pauses, no audience, and all the rest make this promise to be as much of a sham as the recent trial.

I have a question. Who decides which network gets to host any of the debates..?

Does anyone really think what is going to happen on Thursday evening is going to be anything more/less than a hit session on DJT..?! My guess is that they concentrate on the bogus trial and its bogus verdict.

This Thursday the first, and I imagine only presidential debate will be held live from the CNN studios in Atlanta. It will be hosted by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, and there will be NO audience in the room. One can only imagine the time delays and editing that will occur. Yeah, this thing is going to be fair.

I trust gas station sushi more than I trust the integrity of CNN or any major news outlet. The very fact that there will be no audience is very, very suspect.

That said, I will of course watch and offer my usual play by play color commentary from this page.

I guess the price of that 4th of July hot dog was getting too low, because the price for a gallon of regular gas at my local Murphy went from $2.99 yesterday to $3.36 today.

Tomorrow, June 6, 2024 marks forty years since that fateful day in WWII when allied forces began the invasion of Europe to begin closing that theater of the war that claimed the lives of so many on both sides of the conflict. I wrote the article linked below several years ago and it attempts to put the reader on one of those landing crafts at Normandy, Omaha, and Juno beaches, among other landing zones.

I don't know how many of those veterans are left, but we owe them a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid, and their numbers are waning daily. One thing is for sure, they didn't do what they did to see this nation collapse from within as it is doing, and we owe it to them to do whatever we can collectively and individually to turn things around.

God bless them and God help us...🙏

I found myself in WPB today with some business associates and they asked where we might find a good diner, so I suggested we go to nearby Nick's Diner on Okeechobee Blvd.

A few minutes after we'd sat down, an individual sat down at the table next to us wearing a cat halloween costume..😁

As some of you know, I know a thing or three about cats and this person should know that most cats don't have smart phones because of the opposable thumb thing, and the tail this individual had strapped on, (because these folks don't really have tails y'know) resembled a horse's tail more than anything; which I suppose was more than fitting considering it was attached to a horse's @$$.

Anyway, I guess school was out in PBC today...😁
