It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of a vibrant soul,
Simon Paul Eady. Partner and Loved one of KaCee Hills
On the afternoon, 2nd Febuary 20/02/24 we lost a beloved member of our community, leaving a void that can never be filled.
Simon's radiant spirit, passion for drum and bass, and unwavering support for his 33hrtz family and other broadcasting stations like Thames Delta, Code Red, and Rough Tempo made him a true pillar of our scene.
Simon's love for life and his dedication to the music movement were unparalleled. As the life and soul of the party, he breathed energy into every event, managing to turn 33hrtz's first event into a memorable success at short notice. His profound knowledge of wires, P.A. systems, and speakers made him an invaluable resource to all who sought his support.
Despite facing mental and physical challenges, Simon remained a kind, compassionate soul. His legacy lives on through Kaccee, who now shoulders the responsibility of managing the sea of speakers and equipment that symbolize Simon's dreams. Together, they aimed to start a business—33hrtz and Ksc sounds —in Simon's memory, continuing his vision and impact on the community.
Now, we come together to support Kaccee during this difficult time.
Your contributions will help cover funeral arrangements, medical expenses, and provide much-needed financial relief. Let's honor Simon's imprint on our lives by ensuring that his legacy lives on through the dreams he shared with Kaccee.

It's hard to believe it's been nearly two months sine we lost our Olivia and yet at the same time it feels like forever ago since I gave her a hug.

Time heals most things but two months hasn't even taken the sting out as yet. There's not been a night without nightmares or day without crying and it just repeats.

It's also hard to believe how generous people have been with their time, messages and their donations to our fund raiser for two charities that have helped us through since that night.

We've personally responded to about 350 of the people who have donated; sorry to those who gave in the last two weeks as we've not been in a good place but we thank you and we will get round to acknowledging your donation.

Next week we attend a coffee morning at the Alder Centre with other bereaved parents which we are looking forward to; losing a child feels very lonely.

We've had some information about Olivias Organ donations which brought both joy and sadness in less than equal parts and we are due to have a debrief with hospital about Olivia and what made her case so special that we find ourselves here.
