This is to announce the creation of the Laurie Frink Career Grant. The mission of this grant is to offer a young brass player an opportunity for serious study, whether privately, or through an institution of their choice. The grant is being housed in a reserved fund under the Alsop Family Foundation and the goal is to award $10,000.00 to an extraordinary talented player every two years.

An announcement from Lois Martin: It is with the greatest pleasure that I am announcing the winners of the 2022 Laurie Frink Career Grant..Alexandra Ridout and Jason Charos.
The awards ceremony was preceeded by an amazing masterclass held by Nadje Noordhuis.
Each winner played 3 tunes. Clearly, the judges made the best choices!
Sunday was a wonderful day on the upper west side..fun party followed….
Huge thank you going out to all of our supporters!!!!!!
