WHO WE ARE
We are two pianists, Ivo Varbanov and Fiammetta Tarli, with a great passion and drive to share the wonderful music we play with as broad and far-reaching an audience as possible. We met as teenagers on a summer music course in Italy, and since then our careers and relationship have grown to the point where we now have international careers as soloists and chamber musicians, and are marr
ied with a beautiful son! THE PROJECT
We want to launch a fresh new record label, Independnet Creative Sounds and Music Records, in order to tackle the crisis of the classical music industry in recent years. We want to give artists more freedom and flexibility in the choice of repertoire they record, and in doing so hope to reach out to a younger, broader audience. One of our main goals is to make sure that artists working with us get a fair share of the income, as often musicians are the last people to be paid. Our primary goal is to launch ICSM Records with the release of our first four albums in three formats; CD, LP and downloadable audio file (also in HD). We have been working together with Grammy Award winning sound engineer Tony Faulkner (Decca, DG Archiv, EMI, Hyperion, Chandos, BMG, BBC Legends, Wigmore Hall Live, LSO Live to name a few) to record solo piano music, and piano music for four hands, by some of the greatest, much-loved composers of the past, including Brahms, Beethoven, and Schumann.
