I wrote this beauty with Kelly McKay, & Kyle Jackson-Rachky about embracing the love we all have for each and every country artist, instead of comparing and tearing others down. Brand new Karina Kern Music single is out today! Producing this one was a fun process. Instead of full drums and full production, we decided to go more of a stripped down version.. Cajon, bass, electric guitar groove loops and then I got to put my mandolin to use again creating a fun upbeat summer vibe track. Out on all digital platforms today.

New Music Friday: This song was recorded live. Real raw and true! Just Owen and his guitar with some live drums and harmonica added in. Owen is just getting started at 16 years old, but his songwriting skills and vocals are far beyond his years. Keep an eye on this young talent!

Their brand new single "Ride or Die" is out Feb. 9th and this photo was used in their cover art.. Tim Mapel of 515dezigns did an awesome job on their final cover art for the song! Artist/musician friends: 2024 is starting off strong and I'm offering music business coaching consultations this year. Two years ago from a few peers that are in the major label field I learned how important this is (if not the most important thing) especially most of us being independent artists/musicians and I'm finally in a place where I can do this efficiently and effectively between studio projects! (Includes full audit of your branding and overall business approach - deep look into everything from artwork/graphics/web site to songs/song choices, to social media strategies, marketing, cryptocurrency investing for funding of projects, etc etc.
THIS IS HUGE and it's not a huge investment. There is so much talent in each of us that are pursuing growth in the industry but so much that is missed or that we've been doing wrong. I'm excited to finally utilize my marketing/mass communications background along with so much of what I've learned and experienced in my 20+ years of music business involvement in many different aspects. Blog post: Continuing to expand around the country! So grateful to be able to reside and be based in Minnesota where my family, friends, hometown, hunting and fishing roots are, yet get to work with such a cool variety of talented artists from around the country and Midwest. The momentum has recently carried into Illinois where I just started working with country artist Lola Blu who is bringing a unique voice and style to the country scene! Country music is hot in the Midwest and I hope country fans continue to realize more and more that mainstream radio country is just a tiny tiny sliver of talent and great country music that is out there. Was just at the Hailey James Music EP release party last night in River Falls, WI and you should've witnessed the buzz there. Very proud of her hard work, goals and momentum! Going into this next week I'm continuing work on new music with a cool duo Leavin Page Town and with Iowa studs Jesse Wilson and Madison Kolbet Music. Madison is in for vocals on Monday! Continuing work on Lola Blu's new music and then young budding artist Owen Evans is back for a new one in early December. Lots of good stuff coming up. Stay tuned for more updates. -Greg

New music Friday. Very grateful for getting to work with these two artists on their projects! Hailey James Music brand new EP is stacked with a journey of true-to-life songs that she self-penned and had a few co-writers on. Her vocals have really grown over the years and shine with power and emotions on this EP! Her release party is tonight the 17th in River Falls WI. -Jesse Wilson brought his singin buddies Scott Kirkhart & Jared Benson on board for his brand new single that’s a true turn up the volume banger! His release party is tonight the 17th in Moorland Iowa.
