Pixie Pace Records Pixie Pace Records is the sub-label of ARC Music and represents a new avenue for the international label which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2016.

“Making unknown artists known.”

Pixie Pace Records was established in 2014 to work with aspiring singer-songwriters and contemporary folk artists who have one foot rooted in tradition and the other striding towards the future. During this time, ARC Music has consistently released albums from some of Ireland’s finest including Clannad’s comeback album, Nádúr. The Ultimate Guide to Irish Folk with

liner notes by John O'Regan won LiveIreland’s Best Compendium 2014 and featured 'Way Down South' from The Young Folk which attracted the attention of Julia Beyer, ARC Music’s Director who then founded Pixie Pace Records to cater for contemporary acts such as The Young Folk.

2 years on and The Young Folk are now firmly established in Ireland as ‘… one of the most promising young bands to have come out of Ireland in several decades’ [Maverick 4-stars]. They have taken their music to The Netherlands [x 2 Paradiso], the USA, Canada, the UK, France, Germany and Scandinavia and appeared on live television from the UK [Vintage TV], Ireland [RTÉ Saturday Live] and The Netherlands [Nick and Simon, The Dream]. The Young Folk have also bagged supports for the likes of Imelda May and Midlake.
