Make it aesthetic but make it real.

I’m supposed to be chilling on a Sunday but instead I’m wrapping presents. I am the worst at wrapping presents, I whinge about it every year, I absolutely do not enjoy this bit, it makes me want to cry! 😑

I want to use the gift bags but even though they look good, I don’t like that fact that they’re plastic covered, and if I can help a little bit, I’d rather use Kraft paper wrapping so it can at least be recycled, but here I am using scotch tape… which itself is plastic… 🤔

AD Eye patches/ sheet masks are my favourite thing but this is the boujiest!

These are the
Vital Perfection, Uplifting and Firming Express Eye Mask gifted by

They are powered by ReNeura Technology++™ and Retinol, and said to swiftly combat signs of aging. The specially designed patches targets areas prone to wrinkles, visibly enhancing brightness, reducing dark circles, and smoothing wrinkles.

These were easy to open, the patches are super soft in texture, these are not the gel type ones, the serum they’re soaked in is super hydrating and milky, and easily absorbed by my skin, realistically these have to be used 3 times a week for 4 weeks to see any results. I just had the one set, so I can’t really say whether it has brightened or made my under eye firmer, however, I can say that these were lovely and hydrating. At £53.25 for 24 patches (that’s in the sale too), they’d better be showing results after 4 weeks!

It's important to apply SPF in the winter because UV rays from the sun are still present, even on cold or overcast days.

Here’s what I have open at the moment, it wasn’t intentional and lot was for testing purposes!

Ad Introducing the Heimish Bulgarian Rose Tone-Up Sunscreen. This is SPF30 P+++, it’s a 2-in-1 for sun protection, and tint for a luminous complexion.

The website says it’s an hypoallergenic sunscreen, with a radiant pearlescent formula that has a brightening effect. It subtly conceals imperfections with a light pink tint, evening out skin tone.
Heimish has blended their signature Bulgarian Rose Water into the formulation, ensuring the skin stays moisturised and plump throughout the day.

I will go straight to the point here, the introduction sounds amazing, however,
due the physical UV filters, this does leave a white cast, it also leaves a bit of a tacky finish, perfect if you’re applying foundation on top but not suitable if you just want a one and done. The rose scent is beautiful as always, but sadly I’m not a fan of the formula on this. It did leave a white cast on my face all day, but it’s also did cover my blemish marks and hyperpigmentation sadly it left my skin feeling a little dry due to the finish. 2 finger measures left my skin looking white as a sheet so I didn’t apply the third.

Gutted this didn’t work out.
