Introducing our sponsor Matthew Rooney!

"Hey, I’m Matthew. Most people call me Rooney. I’m a videographer/video Editor with roughly 5 years of experience and I enjoy the process of filming and editing no matter how big or small the project is. I especially enjoy the colour grading aspect of film and am currently trying to become an expert with Fusion in Resolve which is easier said than done. I wanted to sponsor and help the event because getting the opportunity to aid in creating more creative avenues for upcoming short filmmakers is something I want to be a part of, even if it’s a small contribution of just creating content for the event it still all adds up in the end. If you see me around the event, say "Hey" I love meeting new people and meeting other upcoming filmmakers from all over the country.

Or if you want to contact me just shoot me an email ([email protected]) or DM me on Instagram (matthew_rooney42) See you all there."

Edinburgh 48 Hour Film Project

Amazing work last weekend creating this short film with a extremely talented bunch of people. We are very excited to announce that you can now watch the film on our YouTube Channel.

If you don’t quite know what the 48 hour film project is, it’s where you are challenged to create a short film between 4 - 7 minutes within 48 hours. And this is precisely what we did, at the beginning on the 48 hours we are given our Genre(DRAMA/SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER), a character (ROBIN MAGNIFICO),a line of dialogue to be used (WHAT IT SOMETHING I SAID?) and a prop to be used (A LIBRARY BOOK).

Let’s see if you can a point out when we include them. As the film is now released we are in the running for the Talk Of The Town Award!
For us to have the chance to win the award, it is down to you. There are approximately another 45 films we are up against and which film has the most, Views, Likes, Comments and Shares by the 7th of June will win. So get sharing and telling all your friends and family about our film.

Have a lovely day everyone 😊
