Guest songwriters play us the first song they every wrote, & tell the story of their musical journey.

There may be some artists who shy away from the memories of their awkward adolescence, learning to play an instrument, and writing earnest love songs in their bedroom. Maybe their skin was bad, their haircut was ridiculous, and the songs they wrote were awful. Rawkwardness chooses instead to celebrate and embrace the vicissitudes of our collective nascent person-hoods by reviving performers' earli

est (and most entertaining) attempts at self-expression. Sometimes poignant, sometimes hilarious, frequently both - Rawkwardness takes the audience on a fun, nostalgic visit to the teenage mind through music. Songs written by actual teenagers, performed by their older, wiser selves, and accompanied by the stories that inspired them make for a self-effacing good time. Hopefully with the laughter, there's also some relief in the confirmation that everyone else was just as miserable in high school as you were.

Oh my god, I can’t believe it. It’s the last episode of Rawkwardness! This is so bittersweet and this episode is really special. In this final episode, we reminisce about our journey, and take some calls from past guests and
Tears were shed, but we laughed a lot too.
