Do you know this bell tower in Italy? ☺️ I still can’t believe @simi_brunner just jumped off it 😂 Luckily, my drone floats, and he was able to bring it back. Also, there was a baby duck at the bottom of the bell tower that had saved itself on a wooden plank 🐥 It was about to freeze, so we took it with us. More about this in my story.

Have you ever seen such colors in the ice? ❄️ This is volcanic ash that has been frozen in the glacier ice over millennia as the glacier grew larger each year. Now, the glacier ice is breaking off and drifting across this lagoon into the sea, where it melts 🫠 Although this is a natural summer process, it is happening much faster due to climate change. The accelerated melting means that more ice is lost than can be restored in winter. Iceland has already lost one glacier, and all others might soon follow 🥲 Let’s take steps to prevent this 🌍

This is a secret waterfall that is very hard to reach 😅 We got our car stuck several times because we took the wrong road and ended up in front of a huge river that was impossible to cross 🌊 Eventually, we found the right path and drove 13 km along the river. After a night in the lonely valley, we hiked to this ledge and had one of the most beautiful and unknown waterfalls in Iceland all to ourselves ☺️

The current volcanic eruption in Iceland has cut off this access to the town of Grindavik and the Blue Lagoon 🌋 New roads will be built over the lava once it cools. However, part of the town is destroyed, and most residents have been evacuated.

I lost my drone 🥲
That’s the main reason why I change my SD card every time I land. That way, if I lose it , I still have all the footage from before ☺️ The video of the crash was recorded by my goggles. Do you think anyone will find my drone and give it back?
I have actually only lost a few drones in my life. Once someone even gave me my drone back after it had been lying on a mountain top for a year and a half and it still worked. Did you ever lose a drone?

I never thought this possible 😅 (Anzeige) the new @djiglobal Avata 2 changes everything! Until now, you had to practice for months to be able to control an FPV drone well. The new motion controller is so intuitive that you can take really cool shots on the first flight with no previous experience ☺️ I did the rotation around the coffee pot in acro mode. So I didn’t even have to control it myself, I just pressed the button for 180° drift to the right and everything else happenend automatically 😂
I would recommend this drone to anyone who wants to start flying FPV 🙌
