RadioKahuna.com is a revived website that we closed down in 2011 when we discovered the people we were paying royalties to were not in turn paying those royalties to the labels and artists, but keeping the money. This was intolerable, as we firmly believe in doing things the right way. This year a
fter looking at a lot of options, we partnered with LoudCity for our music broadcasting, to be sure royalty monies were payed. We also applied the talk format we'd been quietly working on over at YoureOn.net. RadioKahuna.com has one music channel right now with a mix of everything from The Doors to Country, to Metal to Bieber (yeah, I know, lol) and talk shows who have been with the YoureOn.net format from the beginning, who helped us work out the bugs and make for a good interactive talk show experience. On the music end, we plan on bringing new, unique experiences to the listener with a line up of shows that is still being formulated, but the stalwart of which will be Kdog. We're also planning more streams with different, seperate genres of music. A couple shows, the Just BK Program and PRT Paranormal Talk, left Spreaker to join us. The BK show, which talks about news, politics, religion, to which BK then adds his own take on them, is moving to 9PM Pacific time M-F temporarily. Paranormal Phil from PRT Paranormal Talk is on here as well, primarily running in 24/7 podcast mode while Phil takes care of some stuff. We firmly believe in giving the hosts all the power to do whatever they want, after all, it's their shows, and support them however we can. Our shoutcast programs do cost after the 30 day free trial, but it is very little, and here's why: Servers cost money, and we don't do a lot of on page advertising. The cost for our shoutcasting is $5.99 a month for 64k, $8.99 for 128k. All we want to do is cover the server costs, we're not in this to enrich ourselves, only to not go broke. At some point we will support the costs with some on page ads if they can be tastefully done. Talk shows are broadcast on RadioKahuna, YoureOn.net, as well as at All-Hits.com, Shoutcast.com, and Tunein.com. Music hows go onto Loudcity, Shoutcast and Tunein.com, so no matter, mobile users can access content as easily as regular computer users. Come with us!
