⭐️WR Scale Rating: 3.5/5 (‘Great’ rating for a weekly WWE/AEW TV show)
🗣️Wrestling Republic Reviewer Coby Galenzoski on WWE SmackDown: “WWE Smackdown August 16 2024 was a very well put together show from an in-ring perspective. The opening segment started the show off in a weird way. The celebration was alright but was able to advance the Tiffany and Nia dynamic while also finding out Nia’s first opponent in Michin. Carmelo Hayes finally got the win against Andrade in another high quality match. Blair Davenport beat Naomi clean. Kevin Owens almost went to the old side of himself attempting to powerbomb Waller on the apron. Cody made the save as A Town Down Under were going to use chairs against him. Knight sent to message to Santos Escobar for their match next week. The Street Profits became Number One Contenders by being the better team against DIY in a tremendous tag match. The night ended with Roman almost reclaiming the Ula Fala, while Solo Sikoa didn’t claim Jacob would acknowledge Roman if Roman had it back. Fatu single handedly laid out Roman Reigns and the Bloodline stood tall.
The main stories were advanced in the world title picture and the Roman Reigns and Sikoa program. Other stories like Andrade and Hayes got a pull apart brawl that made us want to see a forth. Michin seems to be next for Nia. Chelsea Green slandered the celebration and we have several title matches made official for next week’s show. While the opening segment and Naomi Vs Blair were weak spots on the show.”

BREAKING: AEW All In 2025 will be taking place in the Globe Life Field Stadium in Dallas, Texas on July 12th 2025, making it the first AEW stadium event in the United States🇺🇸
The stadium has a capacity of over 40,000 fans👀🏟️
Per Tony Khan, the event will return to London in 2026🇬🇧

AEW Dynamite Review August 14th 2024👀⬇️
⭐️WR Scale Rating: 3.5/5 (‘Great’ rating for a weekly WWE/AEW TV show)
🗣️Wrestling Republic Reviewer David Sheldon on AEW Dynamite: “AEW Dynamite was a great show, with some outstanding vignettes, good matches and a strong sense of energy ahead of All In. The highlight between the ropes was an excellent 3 way for the number one Casino spot, while the highlight beyond it was probably Mariah May’s superb and poetic vignette on Toni Storm. The show could’ve been structured better, with a lame DQ ending stunting a great tag match and vignettes and matches being lopsided in a manner that gave the show occasionally weird pacing. The Jericho Hook segment was also very poor, and some of the backstage promo work left a little to be desired. However, the show was very consistent in it’s match quality and advanced most of the big stories well ahead of next weeks PPV, so it can overall be considered a very successful show.”

WWE NXT Review August 13th 2024👀⬇️
⭐️WR Scale Rating: 3.75/5 (‘Amazing’ rating for a weekly WWE/ AEW TV show)
🗣️Wrestling Republic Reviewer Archie Carter on WWE NXT: “This week’s NXT was an amazing show. We kicked things off with a very fun segment between Ethan Page and Joe Hendry, who look set to be on the road to battling for the NXT Championship. While the match quality on display really surprised me, the Heritage Cup match was elevated by its interesting story. Oba Femi continued his reign as NXT North American Champion defeating a motivated Otis, in a very hard hitting bout. Then the main event, which I thought would be good, but nowhere near as good as it turned out to be. Fraxiom’s outstanding tag team title run has come to an end, but in return we got the feel-good story of the Summer in NXT with Chase U as new champions. As usual, the atmosphere and production were of a very high level and the storytelling made you want to tune in next week to see what happens next. It was a difficult task for NXT to build even further from the Great American Bash, but they did that and in style with a show packed with great match quality and tremendous storytelling.”

🗣️Wrestling Republic Reviewer Coby Galenzoski on WWE Raw: “WWE Raw August 12 2024 struggled to live up to the strength that was displayed last week, but ultimately was still a very good episode. With the Tornado Tag and The Intercontinental Championship matches were the highlights of the wrestling side of the show.
The show had a good flow, with the placement of segments making sense, and building throughout the night. For example, when Ivy Nile asked Maxxine Dupri to come with her, Dupri denied, leading to Nile turning on her in the tag match. Bronson Reed had another Tsunami filled segment, with R Truth taking several of them. Not even R Truth could avoid the one more time chants from the crowd.
The show helped set up the Berlin mixed tag match between the ‘Terror Twins’ and Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio, as well as advancing Orton and Gunther’s program. It set up the show for next week with the six man tag with New Day, Jones against the Final Testicle...I mean Testament, and the triple threat women’s tag title match. It also teased CM Punk and Drew McIntyre playing with straps?.”

⭐️WR Scale Rating: 4.25/5 (‘Must watch’ rating for a weekly WWE/AEW TV show)
🗣️Wrestling Republic Reviewer Coby Galenzoski on WWE SmackDown: “WWE Smackdown August 9 2024 does a lot of good building off of the momentum of Summerslam and a tremendous Raw. After a handful of weaker Smackdowns, this felt like fresh air. With a new United States Champion in LA Knight, and Cody Rhodes looking to move on past the Bloodline. Santos Escobar and Andrade have an absolute banger that advanced multiple stories for the stars involved. and The Street Profits earn their way to a number one contenders match next week. Naomi returns to the aid of Jade and Bianca making things interesting since the Unholy Union found a new friend recently as well. With Kevin Owens reluctant to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, it will be interesting to see how the match is further built in the coming weeks. Roman Reigns, The Original Tribal Chief returned to smackdown by beating up the Bloodline as Sikoa retreats. The Ula Fala gains more importance with how Sikoa challenged Roman to take it. A very easy and simple watch with three very solid matches and multiple new directions for Smackdown.”
