It’s been 16 years, how time flies!

The world’s first A380 passenger service, SQ380 took off from Changi Airport T2 on 25 Oct 2007 at 0800, and touched down in Sydney at 1715.

Close to 500 passengers and crew were part of that exhilarating experience that changed the face of air travel.

Fast forward today, the A380 remains one of the most popular aircraft types to travel on, with flying in the new Suites still a very sought after bucket list experience.

Singapore Airlines now flies the A380 between Singapore and Hong Kong, London, Melbourne, Mumbai, Shanghai, Sydney and soon Tokyo Narita (from 29 Oct), Auckland (from 22 Nov).
