Hey All,
So it’s definitely been a while. We wanted to reach out and say a couple of things:
Firstly - a huge thank you to all the fans of Doctor who that have enjoyed our stories. I’m glad you liked what we created, and hope it both entertained and inspired you.
Secondly - an explanation. We stopped making this podcast years ago because we received a very scary letter from the BBC. They weren’t thrilled that we had been using Doctor Who characters and such in our own creative way. This was the reason we suddenly went dark. We had planned an entire season 3 (which was epic!) but didn’t want to end up sued.
Thirdish - and that’s why, many years later, we have decided to do something different. Matt and Taylor (known collectively as the Bachelor and the Associate) are going to rebrand the name “Voices from the Vortex” into a new show. It will have all references to Doctor Who removed, however it will remain a show about two friends traveling through space and time together.
We are a ways off from this, but when we get ready for this new show, we will be taking away all the old show episodes and whatnot. But we do hope you’ll stick around and see what we’ve got in store for you!
Thank you all again for all the love you’ve shown us, and here’s to the NEW Voices from the Vortex, due out sometime in 2022 probably.
