First, I actually am a millennial. So I get annoyed by all the anecdotes masquerading as journalism that we are spoiled, lazy, and disconnected from real life. As a group, we’re diverse and dynamic, but we are dealing with an economy that imploded under the watch of previous generations. This website hopes to empower people to make financially-savvy decisions so that we continue doing the awesome
things we’ve been doing. Like electing transformative political leaders, disrupting archaic industries, tackling climate change, and yes, cats lolz on every medium available. Really anyone can benefit from this site, but I emphasize innovative services and products that typically appeal to younger people. My Financial Philosophy:
I’m haunted by the fact that $11 can give someone in the third world with cataracts the gift of a sight. If I paid an unnecessary $11/month inactivity fee on a bank account for a year, I’d see it as me essentially stealing the miracle of vision from 12 less fortunate people. So this can make me a depressing friend to have, but pretty good at investing and saving money. I’m always interested in protecting and building your wealth, and avoiding the many tricks and traps that makes finance such a lucrative industry.
