The 17th Annual Harvest Festival which will benefit the operation of Cambria Historical Society's four properties is coming soon to the Historical Society's Museum. Breaking News! !
The Ballet Folklorico will perform in the back yard for an hour at noon followed by Bob Benjamin and Friends. During that time, guests can Sample a Flight of Five Soups for $10 and a chance at some nice prizes.
The day is a great fun way to support completion of the 1881 Schoolhouse Restoration and Education Project, the Moure Resource Center and CHS office, and display of the 1888 jailhouse replaced on its original site on the pocket park on Center Street at Bridge. Be a part of Cambria's historical rejuvenation. Join in the efforts!

Watch for us in the Pinedorado Parade this Saturday in position 24. Dr. David Krill of Atascadero will be driving his 1946 Woodie Ford Super Deluxe Station Wagon to transport the senior Taylor lady, Mrs. Leslie Taylor (Mary) in advance of our flatbed float featuring about 15 family members of four generations of descendents of Peter Taylor. The Cambria Historical Society Salutes The Taylor Family, the longest continuously residing pioneer family in the Cambria area, since Peter arrived in 1863 and began acquiring ranchland in 1869. Family members married into other influential families and greatly influenced our growing community. During one if our previous droughts, Taylors provided water to the town!
